The Station House Blackrod
We was contracted by the main building contractor to Sandblast the paint from the timber and stone work in the old engine shed that was being converted into a car valeting unit for Kia Bolton
Before starting the job we sheeted up newly installed electrial boxes, cctv sytems and anything that could be affected by the dust.
To sandblast the timber work we used the traditional dry blasting method to remove the paint and clean the timbers back to new using low pressure and a fine graded crushed glass as our abrasive.
To remove the paint from the stonework we also opted for the dryblast method but used a medium grade grit to blast the paint from the stonework.
