Warland Farm
We were contracted by the owners of Warland Farm to remove the paint from the exterior of their farm house that was holding a lot of damp due to the plastic paint and cement coating on the stonework.
The owners wanted the paint removing without causing any further damage to the stonework that the paint had already caused due to the stonework not being able to breathe.
To avoid causing any futher damage to the stonework, we wanted to avoid using abrasive blasting as our first approach to remove the paint. We opted for the doff system and our 300bar falch system to remove the thick plastic coating, this ensured we could remove the plastic paint with minimal damage.
The next challange we faced was removing the cement coating from the stonework, which couldn't be removed with the doff system. So we then opted for the abrasive method (sandblasting) using recycled crushed glass and a range of pressures to remove the coating.
All work was done on time, on budget and to a high standard using the latest equipment to complete the project safely and efficiently.
